BRYAN JV FALLS TO COUGARS 113-54
Cleveland State stayed undefeated on the season as they hosted the junior varsity squad from Bryan College this evening. Slowly pulling away, the Cougars never looked back in a convincing 113-55 victory.
The Cougars shot a blistering 57.1% from the field as they connected on 44 of 77 shots. Leading six scorers was Xavier Okoro who tallied 20 points in a reserve role. He also had nine rebounds, two blocks, and three resounding slams. Kahan Swift was next in line with 17 points on a perfect night from the field. Tre Everette finished with 16 points on an 8 of 8 night from the field.
Travis Jones, Trey Suttles, and Filipe Goncalves also were in double figures with 12, 12, and 11 points. Jones also finished the night with ten assists and nine rebounds. Sutttles would finish with seven rebounds. Goncalves had six rebounds and five steals.
