COUGARS LAND LIPPERT FROM MUFREESBORO OAKLAND

The Cougar basketball team secured their first signee for 2013-2014 as Murfreesboro Oakland's Dontae Lippert signed a national letter of intent Thursday morning.  He was joined by his grandmother, mother, family, friends, and administration as he made his signing official.

Lippert, a 6'6" froward, averaged 10.5 points, 6 rebounds, and one blocked shot for the Patriots who went 19-11 this past season.

He is expected to add depth to both the "4" and "5" positions for the Cougars.  He is looking forward to the challenges of playing college basketball and strives to be a contributor to the program on the court as well as in the classroom and the community.
