Rising sophomores Tevin Olison and Victor Curry recently participated in the Mullen Sport's Top 100 event in Wichita, Kansas. The Top 100 is an invite only event with the top 100 junior college prospects invited. There were 395 coaches from NCAA Division I and Division II level in attendance.
Both Tevin and Victor played in three games over the two day period. After the event, Tevin held offers from Tennessee State and North Carolina A&T, with interest from Morehead State, Missouri State, Columbus State, Ut Martin, and Presbyterian. Tevin was the team's leading scorer, averaging 15.6 points per game with 133 rebounds, 45 assists, and 28 steals on the year.
Victor received offers from Chicago State and North Alabama, with strong interest from Western Illinois, Portland State, University of New Mexico, Tennessee State, Norfolk State, University of Southern Indiana, and Sam Houston State. Victor averaged 11.2 points per game this year with 200 rebounds for a 9.5 average.
The Cougars were 16-10 this past season which included a 9-9 conference record.
