LADY COUGARS GET REVENGE; DEFEAT SNEAD 70-54

Cleveland State extracted a little revenge on Snead State as they defeated the Lady Parsons 70-54.  The Lady Cougars had suffered a six-point setback a week earlier on the Snead State home floor.

The visitors shot out to a 11-0 lead to start the game, and it was lookig like a long night for the Lady Cougars. Jara Gasper would get Cleveland State on the board with a 3-pointer to break the run.  The Lady Parsons' lead would grow to as much as 13 in the first 20 minutes of play.  The Lady Cougars would impose their will on their vistors and hold them scorelss the last six minutes of the first half and tie the game at 23 as both teams headed to the locker room.

Both teams eschanged the lead before a Hannah Brown 3-pointer with 13 minutes to play would give Cleveland State the lead for good.  They would gradually increase the lead to couble digits in the nex ten minutes.  They would make free throws down the stretch to secure their seventh victory of the season.

Roby Anthony would lead the way with 20 points as well as eight steals.  Brown, Gasper, and Chelsea Jones would each finish with ten points.  Brown would also be credited with four steals in the contest.  Cierra Anderson and Tre'Ketta Bonds would lead the way with seven and six rebounds.
