CLEVELAND STATE TAKES HOME OPENER AGAINST LEE UNIVERSITY JV
CLEVELAND, TN - The Cougars opened the home half of their schedule in a winning way as they dispatched the junior varsity squad from Lee University. Leading all the way, the Cougars coasted to an 88-58 victory.
Cleveland State was led by Travis Jones with 21 points, 15 come in the first half. He also had four assists and five rebounds. Trey Suttles, Kahan Swift, and Gabe Dando all finished in double digits with 16, 13, and 13 points. Suttles and Swift would grab eight rebounds apaiece while Swift also had three assists.
Ralph Eason would lead the Cougars in rebounding with 11 rebounds as well as fours assists and three steals.
