COUGARS WIN SEASON OPENER AT CHATTAHOOCHEE TECH
SMYRNA, GA - The Cougars would secure an impressive season opening win against the the Eagles of Chattahoochee Tech by a 91-71 final. Trailing early, Cleveland State would finish the first half leading by nine at 46-37. They would increase that lead at the beginning of the second half to cruise to the win.
Leadin the way for the Cougars would be Ralph Eason with 22 points. He also had eight rebounds and six assists. Travis Jones and Trey Suttles were right behind with 20 and 19 points, respectively. Jones would also claim ten rebounds and four assists while Suttles had nine rebounds.
Kahan Swift would grab six rebound and lead the team with three steals and Timothy Triplett would come off the bench with eight points and five rebounds.
