PREVIEW: Cougars Travel to Snead State for Season's Second Meeting
Men's Basketball returns to action on Tuesday evening, travelling to Boaz, Ala. to square off with Snead State. Tip off is set for 8:30 ET.
The last meeting between these two teams was nothing short of thrilling. The Cougars (2-2) pulled out a close 68-66 victory over the Parsons (1-3) on their home floor back on Nov. 5. Since that meeting, Cleveland State suffered a 66-60 loss at Southern Crescent on Saturday in their last matchup. Snead State also faced Southern Crescent in their last game, winning their first game of the season with a 90-70 victory over the Tigers on Thursday.
A notable performance from the Cougars' last meeting with the Parsons was the play of Kerry Pratt. Pratt scored a career-high 31 points while grabbing five boards and dishing out an assist in the matchup on Nov. 5. Jon Morgan also scored 18 points in the meeting.
After this game, the Cougars will play Volunteer State in Gallatin, Tenn. in their first TCCAA matchup of the season. Tip off is set for 5:00 ET on Saturday.
