Volleyball had a stellar match against Bryan College JV, sweeping the Lady Lions 3-0.
The largest run of the game was in the second set, when the Lady Cougars started the frame with a 12-0 run. Madeline Dasher, who had four kills, and a serve ace in the contest, served 11 straight points without committing an error. The service game as a whole was strong for Cleveland State, as Lydia Martin and Katlyn Knight led the team with four and three respectively. The Lady Cougars had 12 service aces total.
Aly Grace Lemons led the team in kills for the third straight match, recording six, while Celie Patterson led the Lady Cougars with 19 assists. Dasher, Josie Worley, Cydney Brock, Abbie Stinnett all also recorded a block assist.
Cleveland State will play again on Thursday at Johnson University. Match time is set for 7:00 ET.
