PREVIEW: Volleyball Looks to Extend Streak at RU

Volleyball travels to Reinhardt University in Waleska, Ga. to face the Lady Eagles JV squad on Wednesday. Match time is set for 7:00 ET.

The Lady Cougars (5-10, 1-1 TCCAA) are currently on a two-game winning streak after defeating conference foe Chattanooga State in a 3-2 thriller on Sept. 25 and sweeping Covenant College JV 3-0 on Monday. They will hope to continue that winning streak as they play their first game away from L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium since Sept. 18, when they won 3-0 at Bryan College JV in Dayton, Tenn.

Cleveland State fell against Reinhardt JV in an extremely tight, five-set match when the two collided in Cleveland, Tenn. on Sept. 6. The matchup was the Lady Cougars' first against the Lady Eagles in their program history. Cleveland State will look to change their fortunes and draw the series to 1-1 tonight.

After this match, the Lady Cougars will travel to Richlands, Va. on Saturday to play a tri-match with Central Carolina Community College and the hosting community college Southwest Virginia. Match times are set for 1:00 and 3:00 ET.
