PREVIEW: Lady Cougars Face Walters With Five-Match Winning Streak

Volleyball returns home to L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium on Monday night for a crucial conference matchup with Walters State. Match time is set for 6:00 ET.

The Lady Cougars (8-10, 1-1 TCCAA) are on a five-game winning streak after claiming two wins over Central Carolina and Southwest Virginia in Saturday's tri-match in Richlands, Va. The Lady Senators (13-5, 3-0 TCCAA) are on a winning streak of their own, finding victory in three straight, including their last matchup with Chattanooga State on Friday. The two teams met last on Sept. 17 in Morristown, Tenn., with Cleveland State falling 3-0.

The Lady Cougars will hope to continue to get good offensive production from Aly Grace Lemons and Stephanie Burke, who have powered the team's scoring during this run. Sydney Allen has also been a key in providing assists for Cleveland State during their winning streak.

After this match, Cleveland State will host Johnson on Thursday. Match time is set for 7:00 ET.
