CLEVELAND STATE VOLLEYBALL| COUGARS SWEEP COVENANT COLLEGE
The Lady Cougars ended their week on a high note; with a sweep vs Covenant College. Cleveland State found the momentum early in set one taking the lead 12-8, leading to a set one victory for the Lady Cougars 25-13.
Set two, Cleveland State took their momentum from set one and kept the pressure on Covenant. The Lady Scots kept it close with the Cougars with a 5-4 start but, Cleveland never gave up taking set two 25-7.
Set three, The Scots found some momentum going back and fourth with the Cougars 6-6,7-7,11-11, 19-19. But, The Cougars took fire with some great serving and broke away with the lead getting set three 25-19.
The Lady Cougars will be back in action Monday, October 11 vs Trevecca Nazarene University. First serve is slated for 6:30pm
