MOUNT OLIVE COLLEGE NEXT STOP FOR CHASE EDWARDS

Chase Edwards will continue his collegiate baseball career after signing with Mount Olive College (NC).  

Edwards, a 6'3" outfielder, has been a two year starter for the Cougars primarily in right field.  He had a .405 batting average this year with 19 doubles, 2 triples, and three home runs.  He scored 29 runs and drove in 33 runs this season.  He was named first team All-Conference outfielder for his sophomore year.

In his two years at Cleveland State his batting average was .368.  He amassed 102 hits with 33 doubles, two triples, and four home runs.  He scored 53 runs, drove in 49 runs, and stole 22 bases.
