LADY COUGARS FALL TO VOLUNTEER 56-49

The Lady Cougars weren't able to overcome a slow start at the begiinning and fell to the Lady Pioneers of Volunteer State by a 56-49 final.

   The visitors shot out to a 10-0 lead to start the contest and never trailed.  Cleveland State was able to cut the deficit to five many times in the second half, but could never get any closer.  

Jara Gasper was the only lady to reach double figures with 11 points.  Robyn Anthony would be next with eight points.  Mercedes Owens would lead the team with six rebounds and Hanah Brown would collect three steals.
