COUGARS REBOUND AS THEY DEFEAT VOL STATE 74-58
The Cougars back on the winning side Saturday afternoon as they defeated the Pioneers of Vol State by a 74-58 final. A slow first half saw both teams struggle offensively as Cleveland would hold a 25-17 lead at the break. Both teams would double their first half output as both squads found the range in the second twenty minutes.
Clevelad had three players reach double figures with Victor Curry finishing with a team high 19 points. Jordan Brown and Delaino Walker would each score 11 points in the game. Curry and Walker each had double-doubles as they each grabbed 11 rebounds. Josh parker would lead the team with nine assists. Mohanna Sanders would finish with three steals and six rebounds in the game.
