EVAN SPEICHER SIGNS WITH BRYAN COLLEGE
Evan Speicher has decided to stay in a cat state of mind as he signed recently with the Lions of Bryan College to continue his collegiate baseball career. Speicher has been the Cougars' everyday second baseman for the past two years, seeing action in 93 games over the past two seasons.
Speicher, from Chattanooga, saw action in 50 games this past season. He hit .253 with six doubles, a triple, and home run. He drove in 22 runs and stole 12 bases. He had an on base percentage of .318.
For his two years, his career batting average was .292 with 93 hits and 39 RBIs. As a freshman he had 12 doubles and one triple with six stolen bases.
