Baseball suffered a 5-3 loss in the opening game of their three-game set at Dyersburg State on Friday afternoon.
Both CF Tucker Mendenhall (0-for-3, BB) and SS Jonathan Hickman (2-for-4) drove in a run. 1B Marcial Hernandez was 2-for-4 as well. On the pitching side, Brock Browning had two and a third perfect innings of relief on the day, striking out two batters.
The Cougars will close out their regular season tomorrow with a doubleheader with the Eagles beginning at 1:00 ET.
