Day One…Cougar Golf Fifth Out of 13 at the ABAC Invitational
Thirteen teams are competing in the ABAC Invitational on Monday February 27 and Tuesday February 28. After two rounds on day one Cleveland State Cougar Golf is in fifth place shooting a 616 and are 26 behind tournament leader Central Alabama.
The tournament being played at the Springhill Country Club in Tifton Georgia along with Cleveland State features such notables as host Abraham Baldwin College, Wallace State, Snead State, Calhoun State, Shelton State and conference rival Walters State.
Dalton Sutton leads the Cougar team and is tied for sixth overall shooting rounds of 74 and 74. Competition concludes with a morning round on Tuesday February 28.
