Cougar Golf Completes Day One at Glenlakes Invitational
Cleveland State traveled to Foley Alabama on Monday March 13 and is competing in the Glenlakes Invitational at the Glen Lakes Golf Club. The three round tournament started with two rounds and Monday and finishes on Tuesday March 14.
Sixteen teams are entered mostly from Alabama as the Cougars are the only team from Tennessee in the field. Currently Cleveland State is 11th just nine shots from being in the top six. Wallace State is in first place as the Cougars look to jump in the standings in the final day of competition.
Individually Dalton Sutton is tied for 14th with rounds of 79 and 72 while Owen Krueger is tied at 20th shooting a 75 and 77.
Cleveland State scored rounds of 315 and 310 and with an eye on finishing at the top portion of the leader board looks to separate themselves from a group of four teams which includes Southern Union, Abraham Baldwin, Snead State and Central Alabama.
