HACKETT HEADED TO ALABAMA HUNTSVILLE
Cougar outfielder Wright Hackett has decided to play his final two years at the University of Alabama Huntsville. Hackett, a sophomore from Ringgold (GA), has been a two year starter in the Cleveland State outfield since transferring from Southern Poly University.
He has appeared in 76 games as a Cougar with a .339 career batting average. He has had 80 hits with 24 doubles, 4 triples, and 5 home runs. He has knocked in 40 runs with 14 stolen bases and a slugging percentage of .538.
Alabama-Huntsville is a NCAA Division II program which competes in the Gulf South Conference. The Chargers were 36-11-1 this past season and were eliminated in the GSC Tournament by Delta State.
