COUGAR GOLF IN MIDDLE OF PACK AT KALANICK MEMORIAL
The Cleveland State golf team finds themselves in the middle of the pack after the first day of play at the Chuck Kalanick Memorial Tournament in Union Grove (AL). The Cougars sit in 12th place as a team as they carded a 20 over par. That puts them 12 strokes out of the lead in the three day tournament.
Sophomore Carson Minish led the team with a 2 over par 74. He was followed by sophomore Seth Moore and freshman Isaac Lambert who both came in with a 77 (+5) on the day.
Sophomore Gray Loftin came in with an 80 (+8), and freshman Joseph Sadler finished with an 83 (+11). Freshman Joey Ruffin played as an individual and finished with an 86 (+14).
Minish finds himself in a tie for 15th place in individual scoring while while Moore and Lambert are in a tie for 33rd place.
