MEN'S GOLF FINISHES FOURTH IN WALTERS STATE FALL CLASSIC
The men's golf team participated in the Walters State Fall preview at the beginning of the week at The Country Club in Morristown. They played two consistent rounds and finished in fourth place with a 62 over par showing for the two days. they shot a 318 (+30) on day one and then a 320 (+32) on the second day. They were in fifth place after the first day, but was able to move up one spot on the second day.
Joseph Sadler, who competed as an individual, was low scorer for the Cougars. He finished in 18th place with a 83-74-157 (+13). Carson Minish was top for the team with a 80-78-158 (+14) which was good for 20th place. Cooper Lemons would come in 26th place as he carded a 78-82-160 (+16). Seth Moore was in 31st place as he shot a 80-82-162 (+18) while Ethan Johansen was in 32nd place with a 78-85-163 (+19). Isaac Lambert finished in the 40th spot with a 86-80-166 (+22).
In all, there were ten teams competing with a total of 63 players on the course. The squad's next action will be October 20-21 at the Atomic City Classic hosted by Roane State Community College at the Oak Ridge Country Club.
