COUGAR GOLF FINISHES EIGHTH IN RON MARSHALL FLING
The Cleveland State golf team participated in the Ron Marshll Spring Fling at the Goose Pond Colony Resort in Scottsboro (AL), and came away in a tie for eighth place in the event.
The team had a 3 round aggregate of 21 over par. They played the first round and carded a 297 (+9) before carding a 290 (+2) in the afternoon round. They came back the next morning and shot 298 (+10).
Tripp Hall was low scorer for the Cougars as he shot 74-72-72-218 for a 2 over par and a tenth place finish on the individual scoreboard. Seth Moore finished in 24th place with a three day total of 75-72-74-221 (+5).
Carson Minish finished in 37th place with a 72-74-77-223 (+7). Joseph Sadler finished right behind him in 38th place with a 76-72-76-224 (+8). Gray Loftin finished with a three day score of 80-76-75-231(+15). Isaac Lambert finished in 60th place with a +16 (76-80-76-232).
The golf team will return to competition on March 16th and 17th in the Pellissippi State Invitational. The tournament will be held at the Willow Creek Golf Course in Knoxville (TN).
