COUGAR GOLF BEGINS SPRING SEASON AT COASTAL NORTH INVITATIONAL
The Cougar golf team began their spring portion of their season this week at the Coastal North Invitational at the Juniper Creek Golf Country Club. They finished sixth out of 14 teams entered in the event with a two day total of 309-301-610 (+34).
Carson Minish was the low scorer for the team as he finished in a tie for 20th place with a two day total of 76-75-151 (+7). Tripp Hall finished in a tie for 22nd place as he carded a 78-74-152 (+8). Joseph Sadler was in a group tied in 26th place as he had a two day total of 79-74-153 (+9).
Next on the board for the Cougars was Ethan Johansen who scored a two day total of 76-80-156 (+12), good for a tie in 38th place. Seth Moore finished in a tie for 49th place with a 82-78-160 (+16). Gray Loftin competed as an individual and came iwth a two day total of 83-81-164 (+20) for 62nd place.
The golf team's next action will be March 2-3 at the Ron Marshall Spring Fling in Scottsboro (AL). The event is hosted by Illinoi Central at the Goose Pond Colony Resort.
