KENNEDSY BAKER CHOSEN TCCAA WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kennedy Baker, a freshman guard/forward from Dalton (GA), was sselected as the TCCAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played December 1-7. She is the first Cougar to earn that award this year.
The Cougars won both conference games during the week. They defeated Motlow State 56-49 at home last Wednesday, and then won 84-68 over Vol State on the road Saturday. I a non conference contest, they defeated the Young Harris junior varsity o Monday 69-49.
In her two conference games, she scored 25 points, had 23 rebounds, six steals, and two assists. She was 9 of 15 (60%) from the field and was 7 of 9 (78%) from the free throw line. In the Young Harris game, she had ten points to go with nine rebounds with two assists.
