Cleveland State volleyball continued their hot start to the 2025 campAIGN BY DISPATCHING gEORGIA Highlands on Saturday with a 3-0 win. The won by scores of 25-8, 25-3, &25-9. This brings their overall record to 5-0 with their conference season starting this week.
Zowee Dillard led the team with eight kills while Aaliyah Rodgers had seven. Caroline Church also had seven kills followed by Saylor Clark with six. Piper Bowers again led the team with 17 assists.
Dillard led the team with ten digs while Brooklyn Mathis had seven followed by Clark and Isabella Messer, who each had five in the contest.
Messer had six service aces in the match followed by Dillard and Bowers, each with four aces.
The Cougars next opponent is Chattanooga State in their conference opener. The match will be played at L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium with a start time of 6:00pm.
