COUGAR VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO GADSDEN ON THE ROAD IN FIVE SETS
Cougar volleyball fell for the seccond time this season as they were defeated by Gadsden State 3-2 in Gadsden Thursday night. The Cougars overall record stands at 20-2 on the season with both losses coming at the hands of the Cardinals. Sores for the match were 20-25, 25-21, 21-25, 25-18, and 14-16.
Aaliyah Rogers and Zowee dillard led the attack with 14 kills each. Elanee Cotter was next with 11 followed by Kennedy Caudill with ten. Piper Bowers led the way with 48 assists in the contest. Bowers also had four service aces followed by Dillard and Isabella Messer with three apiece. Megan Crocker would finish the night with two aces.
Messr led the team with 34 digs. Rodgers would be next with twelve followed by Bowers, Dillard, and Crocker with ten each. Rodgers would lead with five block assists followed by Caudill with four. Caroline Church would have three blok assists and Bowers would have a solo block and a block assist.
The Cougars are back in action today as they take on Snead State (AL). It will be Sophomore Day with match time set for 11am EST.
